An Analysis of Bleak House on the Story Level under Narratology

叙述学通常从两个角度分析作品:故事层面和话语层面。《荒凉山庄》故事层面的情节研究以传统叙述学中的情节观为研究框架,而人物的研究将结合"功能性"和"心理性"两种人物观来进行分析,最后从中探讨小说黑暗主题的表现方式。

Narratology always approaches the works at the levels of the story and the discourse. This research concentrates on the two important factors at the story level about Bleak House. The analysis on the plot is based on the traditional plot concept, and the analysis on the characters is based on the concept and classification of ＂functional character＂ and ＂psychological character＂. In the conclusion part, the dark theme is explored based on the previous analysis.
