高职公共英语课教师的控制作用

摘要 目前教育界倡导以学生为主体进行教学,但由于学生自身的局限性,需要教师在教学中发挥主导作用方能达到良好的学习效果。这一观点可以美国教育家Earl W.Ste-vick(史蒂威克)的学生"反死亡"心理研究为理论依据来证明。高职公共英语教学中教师应从学习动机、目标、内容、教学步骤等方面发挥主导作用。 At present,the educational advocate that teaching should be student-centered.However,due to students'limitations,teachers are supposed to play the leading role in the teaching process so as to achieve effective learning results.This idea is supported by the research on students'psychology of "the denial of death",which was done by the American educationist Earl W.Stevick.Based on this theory,in college English teaching of higher vocational colleges,the teachers should play a leading role in four steps motivation,objectives,content,and teaching procedure.
