Religion architecture is significant and plays a vital roll in the architectural evolution. Before 20th century the Western architectural history closely followed the development of religious architecture. At that time, religious architecture perfectly represented the advanced technology and culture. The paper analyzes the differences of windows between Chinese and Western religious architecture based on those buildings built before 20th Century. It aims to present the form and decoration of windows influenced by the native society and culture, in order to provide the inspiration of understanding the window culture and religious architecture.
