方苞父亲方逸巢与曹寅交往考

Exploration on Acquaintanceship Between Chao Yin and Fan Yichao,Father of Fan Bao

桐城派鼻祖方苞的父亲方仲舒,字南董,号逸巢,与比自己小二十岁的曹寅是朋友。两人的交往史料(诗、赋、辞等),在曹寅《楝亭集》中有六七处,以前未引起学界的注意。本文根据方苞、方逸巢的有关文献,对该资料尝试作了笺释,内容涉及:方逸巢舅舅马秋竹作为曹家的私塾先生,与曹玺、曹寅父子的交往;方逸巢本人对曹寅的评价,以及曹寅对于其弟弟的关照;方逸巢手臂害疮、好酒的细节,及曹寅对方逸巢的关心;曹寅春送方逸巢两只酒杯,并写铭、辞相送的情景;生活困难的方逸巢送年货给曹寅,感谢其送酒杯,等等。两人有诗文为凭的交往史,跨度为十五年,是研究曹寅和方逸巢以及桐城派的重要史料。

Fan Bao is the originator of the literary persuasion,Tongchen school,and his father,Fan Zhongshu,whose other two names are Nandong and Yichao,had been sustaining a friendly relationship with Cao Yin who is twenty years younger than him.There have been six or seven records of their mutual friendship found in Cao Yin’s collection of poems 'Jianting Ji',which was paid little attention to before by academic circles.Explorations made in this article concerned with explanations of relevant materials will involve the following:the friendship between Cao Yin,his father Cao Xi and Ma Qiuzhu,their private tutor and uncle of Fan Yichao;Fan Yichao’s appraisal of Cao Yin and Cao Yin ’s care for the brother of Fan Yichao;the details of Fan Yichao suffering from a sore on his arm and his overuse of alcohol,and Cao Yin’s care for Fan Yichao;the farewell scene on which Cao Yin presented to Fan Yichao two goblets as well as inscriptions and poets written for him;Fan Yichao’s returning thanks to Cao Yin by presenting spring festival food,etc.It had been a fifteen years’ span of their poems exchange,which are the valued historical materials of making research on Cao Yin,Fan Yichao and Tongchen school.
