Expressway Toll Station Operation Strategy Based on Traffic Flow Prediction

以宁沪高速公路南京主线收费站数据为样本,使用现代时间序列模型预测收费道口交通流量,提出了基于交通流量预测的收费道口运营策略制定方法,并给出了应用实例。

Based on the real world data collected from the Nanjing mainline toll station on the Nanjing-Shanghai Expressway,the traffic volume is predicted by using the modern time series model.Based on the predicted traffic volume,the operational strategy of the toll station is determined.Empirical results show that the proposed approach is instructive in determining the number of toll gates opened for each time interval.
