拓跋鲜卑是鲜卑的重要一部,因建立北魏王朝,对中国历史发展有承上启下之功。早期拓跋鲜卑历史中,史学界对嘎仙洞石室祝文及发祥地、拓跋鲜卑族名来源、族源、早期迁徙、早期社会等内容有深入系统的研究并取得丰硕成果。考古学研究成果为早期拓跋鲜卑研究取得突破性进展提供了支撑。

Tuoba-Xianbei is one of the important tribes of Xianbei. Establishing the Northern Wei Dynasty, Tuoba-Xianbei played a key role that linked the preceding with the following in Chinese history. During early Tuoba-Xianbei history, Historians conducted in-deep and systematical research on the Sacrifice Article on the wall in Gaxian cave, the origin of the name of Tuoha-Xianbei, the origin of the Tuoba Tribe,its early migration, its early society and so on, and have achieved fruitful re- sults. Those archaeological findings provide a solid support for the breakthrough development of the research of early Tuoba- Xianbei.
