大型穿孔机顶杆预旋转装置的设计与研究

Design and Research of Plug Bar Pre-rotating Device for Large Piercing Mill

顶杆预旋转装置是管坯在穿孔机中咬入并接触到顶头的瞬间,能够给顶杆提供启动转矩的一种装置。依据实践提出了在大型穿孔机组增设顶杆预旋转装置的必要性,介绍了有关设计计算方法。顶杆预旋转装置对提高顶杆刚度,改善管坯咬入和穿孔工艺条件,提高毛管质量具有重要作用。

The plug bar pre-rotating device is used to provide start-up torque to the plug bar of the piercer at such a moment when the billet is just fed into the pass and got contacting with the plug. Based on the operation experience of the piercer,the necessity of attaching the said pre-rotating device to the large piercing mill is identified. The calculation method as used for design of the device is described here in the paper. It is concluded that the plug bar prerotating device plays a very critical role for enhancing rigidity of the plug bar,improving the biting and piercing process conditions of the billet as well as bettering the shell quality
