摘要 语音意识是英语词汇阅读的关键因素。在介绍语音意识的定义、发展路径以及语言认知特点的基础上,讨论语音意识与英语阅读关系的理论基础及跨语言特点,再着重分析汉语背景英语学习者语音意识的发展特点及其训练的必要性,进而提出英语学习者语音意识训练方案和相关指导原则。 Phonological awareness is the key factor predicting English word reading.This paper begins with the definition of phonological awareness and its underlying linguistic and cognitive features.Following this,the theoretical underpinning for the importance of phonological awareness in reading acquisition is reviewed.The next section discusses the development of phonological awareness in Chinese learners of English and the necessity of phonological training.
