In the light of the present situation of sci-tech novelty retrieval work, this paper probes into the feasibility of integrating knowledge map into sci-tech novelty retrieval, and expounds the exhibition of the subject frontiers, core authorsand core institutions with visual graphics for providing some references for scientific researchers and promoting subject- based services.
