2011年，美国领导人密集出访亚太，力推跨太平洋战略经济伙伴协定（TPP），首次参加东亚峰会，增兵澳大利亚……奥巴马自称美首位“太平洋总统”，反复强调美国是“亚太国家”，誓言继续充当“亚太领导”角色。美国高调“重返”亚太，来势汹汹。
