On the Grammatical Hierarchy of Syntactic Functions Conveyed by the Measure Words in "Quotations of Ancient Masters"

《古尊宿语录》是一部口语化很强的禅宗语录,是晚唐五代至南宋初期禅宗的一部重要语录汇编。该文对其中量词句法功能的语法等级进行了考察。结果表明,量词的光杆形式、重叠式及其数量结构的句法功能都不一致,动量词和时量词数量结构的句法功能的等级序列基本一致,但二者却与名量词的句法功能的等级序列有较大差别。

＂Quotations of Ancient Masters＂ is a Zen Buddhism classic with strong colloquialism.This paper studies the grammatical hierarchy of syntactic functions conveyed by the measure words concerned.The research indicates that the bare and overlapping measure words are different in syntactic functions,and that measure verbs and time words are consistent in hierarchy sequence yet differ from measure nouns.
