摘要 京东商城早就在学亚马逊,只不过现在才学得更像了。 Insiders of Chinese e-commerce website 360buy are more and more aware of the company's future: Amazon, the US e-commerce giant. As a comprehensive electronic business platform, Amazon has strong control on the upstream supply chain, and that is what Liu Qiangdong, CEO of 360buy, has been pursuing. Meanwhile, 360buy also hopes to strengthen its logistic system to forge another 'profit center'. It is building a 'flywheel' like Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon, did, and the logistics is the starting point. It plans to invest RMB3.6 billion (USD571 million) in logistics, and expand its distribution team. Once it can handle the whole logistics chain, the customer experience will be greatly improved. People may still remember that on November 11, 2011, the system of 360buy faced difficulties in submitting new orders under great pressure. In January, 2012, Wang Yaqing, former global Vice President of Oracle, joined the company as its first CTO to strengthen its technology platform. With so many changes, 2012 is a key year for 360buy. Obviously, the major factor influencing its future is not from Taobao, Amazon China or other rivals, but 360buy itself.
