Lacanian Psychoanalysis and the Study of Cultural Identity

文化身份研究通常过于注重文化身份形成和运作过程中的意识形态、权力话语等外部决定因素,而忽略了个人的心理动因。拉康的精神分析理论以具有语言结构的无意识为出发点,从心理机制上区分了自我和主体,揭示了人类身份的虚幻性、分裂性和不稳定性,并从"愉悦"的角度探讨个人突破自我限制和寻求主体真相的可能途径,拓宽了文化身份研究的视野。

Studies of cultural identity tend to overemphasize such external determinants of the formation and functioning of cultural identity as ideology, power and discourse, and ignore the psychological dynamics of the individual. Lacanian psychoanalysis, rooted in the unconsciousness with the structure of language, differentiates between the self and the subject with reference to psychological mechanism, reveals the fictional, split and unstable nature of human identity and discusses the possibility of breaking down the constraints of self-identity and finding out the truth about the subject from the perspective of Jouissance, thus broadening the horizon of the studies of cultural identity.
