自贸区建设与中国东盟关系——一项战略评估

The Impact of CAFTA on China-ASEAN Relationship: An Evaluation from Strategic Perspective

本文在分析中国东盟自贸区建设三重目的的基础上,对自贸区建成以来中国东盟双边关系的发展作了简要评估:即自贸区建设虽然加强了中国东盟双边经济的相互依赖关系,但在中国经济快速崛起、美国重返东亚的背景下,自贸区建设对双边关系的促进作用正在下降。因此,本文认为,后自贸区时期中国东盟关系的经营需要超越"经济利益捆绑"的综合战略。

Based on the analysis of the three-fold aim of the China-ASEAN FTA initiative, this paper provides a brief evaluation of the China-ASEAN relationship after the fulfill of the CAFTA. It argues that, with the rapid rising of China and the return of the United States to East Asia, CAFTA is no longer an efficient way to promote bilateral relations although it is still deepening the economic interdependence between China and ASEAN. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy which is beyond the ＂economic interest binding＂ is necessary to manage China-ASEAN relationship in the post-FTA era.
