摘要 The compositions and bonding energies of elements C, O and N in the surfaces of chitosan and Cu 2+ chitosan chelate have been investigated by XPS. An adsorption mechanism is proposed by which the adsorption occurs through a chelating reaction between Cu 2+ and —NH 2 on the surface of chitosan.
