With the rapid development of Chinese economy, economic activities in mineral industries expand quickly. While exploiting mineral resources, orchestrating exploitation of mineral resources and protection of ecological envirgnment has great significance .to utilize mineral resources properly. This paper analyzes main types of geological hazard, suggests pertinent solutions to draw attention of the whole society and thus promote a sustainable development of economy.
