On Management System for Painters in Hanlin Painting Academy of Northern Song Dynasty

两宋翰林图画院是中国历史上第一个有据可依的官方画院,被认为是历史上最完备的绘画机构,这种完备不仅体现在其自身有着完整的机构设置,还在于其对于画家有着一套严格而规整的管理制度。通过研究可以发现,宋代并不是一个对画院画家有着优厚待遇的朝代。相反,两宋画院画家所面临的是地位低、待遇差、升迁难等一系列问题。

Hanlin painting academy of the Song Dynasty was the first official painting academy with textual proves in Chinese history,and was thought as the most complete painting institute.This completion does not only represent on the complete institution arrangement,but also on the set of strict management system for painters.We can find from the research result that high salaries were not provided for painters in the academy in Song.On the contrary,the painters in the two Songs were in a low position,with low salary,and hard to get promoted.
