高密度人居环境生态与节能教育部重点实验室是以同济大学建筑与城市规划学院为基础,通过整合目前已有的科研基地而形成。实验室建设以城乡和谐发展与资源高效利用为导向,以高密度人居环境生态与节能为研究对象,研究方向紧紧围绕三大方向即城镇密集区发展预测和动态监控技术、城市建筑群生态化模拟集成技术以及既有建筑/历史建筑诊断与生态改建技术,开展高密度人居环境生态与节能的多学科、多层次的学科集群研究,提高基础研究和理论研究能力,为我国城镇化健康发展及建设资源节约型和环境友好型社会提供技术和决策支撑。

The Key Laboratory of Ecology and Energy-Efficient Study of Dense Habitat （Tongji University）, Ministry of Education （Referred to as the Lab hereafter） is established on the basis of existing research facilities in the College of Architecture and Urban Planning （CAUP）, Tongji University. Aiming to achieve harmonious development patterns and highly-efficient use of resources, the Lab focuses on the theme of ecological and energy-efficient development of dense habitat, which covers three sub-themes, such as development prediction and dynamic monitoring technologies for high-density urban areas, Integrated simulation techniques of ecological strategies for dense building clusters, and diagnostics and ecological renovation of existing/old buildings. The strong and diverse academic background of CAUP supports multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research activities being carried out at the Lab, and enables a continuous enhancement of research capabilities in fundamental and theoretical issues related to dense urban habitat development. The work of the Lab provides technical support to decision-making that aims at developing a resource-efficient and environmental-friendly society.
