刘蜕,自称文泉子,是晚唐重要古文作家,学界对其生平虽有论述但缺少系统性。从家世和仕途两个方面对诸家之说进行整理归纳,对刘蜕的生平做系统描述。

LIU Tui,named Wen Quanzi,is an important essayist in the late Tang Dynasty.There are lots of comments about his life experience but all of them lack systematic research.LIU Tui＇s life experience is systematically studied by generalizing the others＇ comments on him from the perspective of his family background and official career.
