With the globalization of today＇s world, cultural communication is becoming more and more frequent. Language plays an important role in the process. The Japanese attitude towards absorbing foreign languages reflects their characteristics. From the perspectives of the features of the Japanese language borrowed from other languages, the paper analyzes Japanese characteristics of being open, selective and creative in absorbing other cultures.
