Ideational functional analysis of two English versions of Wild Grass

旨在以Halliday的系统功能语言学为理论依据,从经验功能的角度对《野草》的两个英译本进行初步的对比分析和讨论。指出两位译者在翻译的过程中,都有选择地采用了不同的过程,使译文语言形象、生动,更好地表现了原文的意义。

This paper takes Halliday＇s Systemic Functional Linguistics as the main theoretical basis and makes a primary contrastive analysis of two English versions of Wild Grass from experiential function perspective,finding out that both translators select different courses in their translations in order to better covey the original meaning with expressiveness and vividness.
