Chi Zijian’s novel,All the Nights in the World employs the first-person narratives to tell a story of what＂I＂see in＂my＂sad and lonely trip after the accidental death of＂my＂husband.With the description of her experiences in the trip,the narrator brings the darkness of reality vividly to the readers.She,as well as the ordinary people,is suffering from pain,grief and life and death.In her painful journey,the narrator not only learns how to surpass herself,but also gains a profound reflection on the society.
