Problems and Solutions of Cathode-ray Phosphors for Projection Tubes

摘要 对投影管用荧光粉的发展现状进行了回顾 ,着重论述了在高能量密度电子束轰击下 ,ZnS∶Ag,Al蓝色荧光粉的饱和特性和YAGG∶Tb绿色荧光粉的老化机理。并结合 3英寸YAG投影管 ,从荧光粉材料、制屏过程两方面阐述了最新的技术进展。 The state of the art development of phosphors for projection tubes has been reviewed.The discussion emphasizes mechanisms of luminance saturation and efficiency degradation under intense electron beam irradiation in the cases of blue phosphor ZnS∶Ag,Al and green phosphor YAGG∶Tb.Using a 3 inch YAG projection display as an example,we demonstrated that possible solutions of the problems can be obtained if research efforts focus on phosphor materials and screen processing.
