台湾博物馆研究趋势探讨：从“十字路上的博物馆”学术研讨会谈起

The museum studies in Taiwan： On the issues of the museum at a crossroads. Museum Studies Conference 2011

台湾博物馆学术研究近年来蓬勃发展，从专门的博物馆研究所的设立到各种国际研讨会的举办，展现了丰沛的研究能量及博物馆社群对专业知识与技术的渴望。本文以2011年国立自然科学博物馆主办的“十字路上的博物馆”博物馆研究学术研讨会为报导内容，分析该研讨会4个主题：“公共空间：参与式博物馆”、“社区博物馆与地方的对话”、“博物馆专业：Curator的重返与扩张”及“争议性议题：从社会基石到改变社会”如何呈现台湾博物馆社群不同的实践与关怀。从研讨会的论辩中，也发现当代博物馆正面临前所未有的各种挑战，从博物馆如何关怀身心障碍观众、与社区及原住民社群的对话，到展示性别与人体等伦理议题，都应证了博物馆正身处于充满麻烦的世界，而各种挑战也扩大了博物馆的关怀层面与实践的疆界。

From the fact that there are three graduate institutes of museum studies in Taiwan and many international conferences held every year, it shows that there is a growing demands for knowledge of museology and museography and the museum studies have been flourishing in Taiwan. This paper discusses the content of the “Museum at Crossroads： Museum Studies Conference 2011” and analyzes the following four themes： “Public Space： Engaging Museum”, “the Dialogue of Community Museum and Locality”, “the Museum Profession. the Return of Curators”, and “the Controversial Issues： from the Social Milestone to Social Change” to illustrate different practices and concerns of museum community in Taiwan. From the conference discussions and debates, it reveals that the contemporary museum is facing various challenges such as how to look after the disabled visitors, how to interact with community residents and indigenous communities as well as gender issue and how to display the human body in the museum. The museum is indeed in a troubled world and all these issues challenge and expand the horizon of museum practice.
