日本产业结构转换与对外直接投资变化初探

A Study of the Restructuring of Japan's Industries in Relation with the Motivation of its Direct Foreign Investment

５０年代以来，日本产业结构发生了数次重大变化，即从劳动密集型转向资本密集型进而转向技术创新密集型；对外直接投资动机也经历了低成本追求型到资源寻求型再到战略同盟寻求型的转化过程。针对未来日本产业结构的转变趋势，其对外直接投资的基本动机则是：市场动机、信息收集动机、商品筹划与研究开发动机、国际性生产动机以及劳动动机。

A number of major changes has taken place in Japan's industrial structure since the 1950s, in which the labor-intensive mode was replaced by the capital-intensive mode which in turn has been replaced by high-tech and innovation-intensive mode, and the motivation of direct foreign investment has also undergone such changes as from the low-cost pursuant type to resource pursuant type to strategic alliance pursuant type. As regards the future transforming tendency of Japan'sindustrial structure, the basic motives of Japan's direct foreign investment have been summed up as: the market motive, in- formation collection motive, consumer goods research and development motive, produc- tion intemationalization motive and the labor motive.
