《合集》22258中的"由"字,过去没有很好的解释,一般认为它表示不好的意思,读为"忧"。其实这是不正确的,通过相关材料,可知它应该是"由从"之"由"。
Previously, there have been no good explanations about the character, You in The Collection of Oracle Inscriptions 22258. It is generally regarded that this character contains the negative meaning. This paper puts forward a new interpretation about You according to relevant Bronze inscriptions. That is it should be ＂you＂ of ＂you cong＂
