西域文献目录是全面反映塔里木大学图书馆馆藏特色的图书目录,可为研究者揭示馆藏西域文献种类,搭建方便快捷的文献检索平台,推进西域文献资源收集、开发和利用,更好地服务于学校科研工作、服务于地方经济建设和文化发展。在编制目录过程中必须从地域范围、文献类型、出版时间、印刷文种、学科范围等方面明确界定。

The Western Regions＇ bibliography is the most representative catalogue in library of Tarim university.It can fully reflect the Tarim University Library holding characteristics,reveal the Western literature＇s types of holding for the researcher,set up literature search platform of convenient and efficient,advance collection,development and use of the Western literature resources,better serving the school scientific research,serving the local economic construction and cultural development.In the process of cataloging the geographical scope of directory,type of literature,publishing time,printing,and other aspects of language subject defined.
