The Chinese classic instrument Zheng, with five cords, has been loved by people all the time. Its magic and vitality lies in the continuous reform and innovation. The reformed Zheng has adapted to the art development of the classic instrument, and it is a successful example of Guzhengs reform, as an epoch-making event. This paper analyzes the process of Guzheng reform and makes comparison with the reformed Zheng.
