The Comparison of Plato and Aristotle's Political Ideology

柏拉图的政治思想直接构成了亚里士多德哲学的起点,但是他们的政治思想又有所不同。亚里士多德摆脱了柏拉图过于沉溺的理想主义色彩;针对当时希腊城邦的日趋没落,柏拉图认为社会应该是整齐划一的,亚里士多德认为应是多元化的;柏拉图提倡公有制,亚里士多德主张私有制;柏拉图提倡人治,亚里士多德主张法治;柏拉图注重演绎,亚里士多德则注重归纳。

Plato＇s political thought directly forms the original philosophy of Aristotle, but their political ideologies also have some differences. Aristotle got rid of the idealistic part in the Plato＇s politic thoughts. Aiming at the decline of Greek city-state, Plato thought society should be uniform, whereas Aristotle believed that it should be diversified; Plato advocated public ownership, whereas Aristotle appealed to private ownership; Plato promoted ＂ rule by men＂, on the other hand, Aristotle advocated ＂rule by law＂ ; Plato focused on deduction, while Aris- totle paid attention to the induction.
