"My Theory Is Not Alone"——An Introduction on Kaoting Academy and Kaoting Village in Jianyang City of Fujian Province

位于福建建阳考亭村的考亭书院,是朱熹生平创办的最后一个书院,加之形成学术史上具有重大影响的考亭学派,考亭书院成为朱熹教育后代的文化摇篮,成为宋代理学发展史上的里程碑。

Kaoting Academy is located in Kaoting village of Jianyang City, Fujian Province. It is the last academy established by Zhu Xi. Because of the important influences of Kaoting School in history, the Kaoting Academy had been built into a cradle of culture by Zhu Xi for teaching later generations, and it also became a landmark of neo-Confucianism of Song Dynas- ty.
