后危机时代我国商业银行碳金融业务路径选择

Path Selection for Commercial Banks of China to Develop Carbon Finance Business in the Post-crisis Era

2005年《京都议定书》实施以后,各类西方金融机构特别是商业银行纷纷投身于碳金融领域并开发出大量碳金融产品,获得了丰厚的利润,使得碳金融逐渐成为后危机时代西方国家金融创新、商业银行经营方式转变的主要方式。后危机时代,随着我国经济结构的逐渐调整、优化,发展新兴中间金融业务必将成为重点,我国商业银行发展低碳金融正逢其时。但我国商业银行开展碳金融业务较晚、业务单一,远远落后于西方国家,这与我国拥有世界最大的碳金融发展空间和潜力的事实严重不符。因此,如何以最有效的方式促进我国商业银行碳金融业务发展成为后危机时代商业银行的主要任务。而西方商业银行在短短5年时间内开展碳金融业务并取得巨大成功的经验也尤其值得我国商业银行借鉴。

Ever since Kyoto Protocol came into force in 2005,various types of Western financial institutions,esp.commercial banks,have engaged in carbon finance and designed a large number of services,which have broght much profit.In the post-crisis era,carbon finance has become a primary way of financial innovation and has successfully helped Western commercial banks to transform their traditional business.The ongoing process of restructuring and optimizing China＇s economy provides the best opportunity for commercial banks in China to promote carbon finance business.However,the development of China＇s carbon finance services has lagged far behind that of the Western countries,which strikingly mismatches the fact that China is the largest potential market for carbon finance.Therefore,finding the most effective way to promote carbon finance business has arisen as a major concern of commercial banks in China.Over a short period of 5 years,Western commercial banks have leaped and achieved significantly in carbon finance,which may enlighten China＇s commercial banks on this aspect.Besides,this thesis aims at providing some relevant policy suggestions in terms of further promoting development in carbon finance business.
