摘要
神经生物学是一门新兴的前沿学科,西安交通大学医学院从2010年起,为八年制医学生开设了神经生物学课程,在教学内容安排、教材选择、教学模式、教学语言以及综合考评方面进行了改革和尝试。结合“区段整合式”教学改革的需要以及我校神经科学研究工作基础,对教学内容进行调整;打破以课本为主的传统教学模式,不指定教材;教学活动为理论课程大课教学(1ecture)和以问题为基础学习(problem—basedlearning,PBL)相结合;提高了在教学中,使用英语的比例,并将探索和综合能力纳入对学生的考评。通关调查问卷以及与学生座谈的方式,收集了学生对教学改革的意见和建议。结果表明,神经生物学教学改革取得了良好的教学效果,激发了学生的学习兴趣,提高了学生的自主学习的能力并增强了自信心,同时也还存在着一些问题需要进一步改进。
Neurobiology is a new rising frontier. We started teaching neurobiology for eight-year program medical students in Xi' an Jiaotong University College of Medicine since 2010. The reform and bold attempt had been carried out in several aspects mainly. There was no specified textbook. As for the teaching model, problem-based learning (PBL) was combined with traditional lectures. English was used as the main teaching language and a comprehensive evaluation was carried out to estimate the teaching effect. Students' opinion and suggestions were collected through questionnaire survey and discussion. The results showed that students' interest in study had been triggered and the self-learning ability had been ele- vated. However, there were still some issues that need to be improved.
