Objective Our study aims to assess the effects of functional connectivity of Glioma by resting-state MEG. Methods Resting-state MEG data were collected from 20 Glioma patients and 20 healthy control subjects. The Phase Lag Index(PLI) was computed to assess functional connectivity in Delta band (1-4Hz), Theta band (4-8Hz), Alpha band (8-12Hz), Beta band (12-30Hz), low Gamma band (30-45Hz) and high Gamma-band (55-70Hz) after 2LOGN threshold of functional connectivity network of sparse, and the network characteristics such as cluster coefficient C and path length L was measured. We analyzed the differences between the functional connectivity networks using Mann - Whitney U test. Results Functional connectivity network of Glioma patients showed the "small-world" network characteristics in Alpha band. Compared with the functional connectivity of healthy controls'brains, Glioma brains ' functional connectivity, as displayed, decreased significantly (P〈0.05) in low and high Gamma band; As shown in the beta band, Glioma brains'functional connectivity in the left hemisphere was significantly higher than the one in the right side (P〈0.05) ; but gender and sex did not play an important role on brain networks statistically. Conclusion The"small-world" network characteristics was changed in glioma brain network. Compared with healthy subjects, functional connectivity in glioma patients decreased significantly at low and high Gamma frequency; The impact on Beta Band functional connectivity network was different between left and right cerebral hemisphere of glioma brains.
