摘要
《勾画翻译史的未来——当下话语与方法论》一书是加拿大翻译研究协会(CATS)第17次年会的结晶,旨在探索翻译史研究的理论话语与方法论,弥补其理论与实践上的双重"空白",描绘翻译史的未来蓝图,并建立独立的译史研究领地。本文首先对该书进行概述,然后对其扼要评论。
Charting the Future of Translation History： Current Discourses and Methodology, a volume of selected papers from the XVIIth Annual Conference of the Canadian Association for Translation Studies （CATS）, attempts to point at blanks and shortcomings in the study of translation history and discover the proper way to guarantee its own future as an independent discipline among scientific fields. This paper is a general comment on the collection of studies.
