摘要
本文结合作者长期从事同声传译和口译教学的经历,从口译实战和培训的实际出发,就近年重大会议同传中遇到的主要挑战、汉外同传特点、汉外同传难点、汉外同传对策、同传能力培养,进行思考和分析,旨在改善汉外同传的效果,完善汉外同传教学的不足。指出,应该重视口译复合型人才的培养,注重双语能力、主题知识、职业性格的并行培养。汉外同传研究迫切需要从汉外翻译的特点和需求出发,利用多学科方法,研究更多的翻译案例,开发出切实可行的口译理论。
Based on my many years of practical experience in simuhaneous interpretation (SI) and SI teaching, I analyses the characteristics of interpreting from Chinese into foreign languages, the major challenges and difficulties encountered in interpreting for major conferences in recent years, and the coping strategies and their implications for the training of simultaneous intepreters. It is pointed out that more attention should be paid to the cultivation of interdisciplinary interpreters and the parallel development of interpreters' bilingual competencies, their knowledge base and their professional qualities. Finally, it concludes that it is urgent to develop a feasible interpretation theory in consideration of the characteristics of SI and demands for simultaneous interpreters from Chinese to foreign languages.
