摘要
基于Web的翻译系统是在机器翻译研究成果和信息技术的基础上发展起来的一种新技术,代表着目前机器翻译研究领域中的一大发展趋势。在网络信息时代实现"全球一体化和翻译本土化"的进程中,基于Web的翻译系统发挥着十分重要的作用。本文从七个主要方面探讨了如何评价基于Web的翻译系统的问题,并就此提出多语翻译软件给我们翻译研究、翻译教学带来的诸多思考和启示。
Web-based translation system, originated from machine translation （MT） and information technology, represents the current development trend of MT and it plays an important role in the gloealization of translation. This article mainly deals with the evaluation of web-based translation system from seven aspects and finds that muhilingual translation software can bring about more reflection and enlightenment for translation studies as well as translation teaching.
