2010年,出现了很多顺应网络时代或具有中国特色的新兴词汇,相伴而生的还有它们的英译。其中最受人们欢迎,使用频率最高的应该算是"给力"一词。本文将介绍"给力"一词的中文释义,来源出处以及使用案例,然后对使用案例进行分析归类,并给出具体环境下相应的合适的英文释义,试图探讨中式英文的合理性及其出路。
In 2010, many new words and their English versions appeared in the Intemet as well as in our daily life. ＂geili＂ can be thought as the most popular and often used word. This article firstly discusses its Chinese interpretation, its origin and its practical contexts, then suggests its appropriate English interpretations in corresponding contexts and conclude with the future and rationale of China English.
