Manufacturing process and testing methods for diamond micron powder and diamond polishing suspension have a major impact on its quality.This article focuses on rapid developing areas in recent years,such as process technology by jet mill,polishing suspension manufacturing technology and particle determination technology by laser.It comprehensive summarizes the various definitions of particle size,a variety of detection methods,commonly used chemical reactions,and also compared them each other.The various factors effecting product quality have been pointed out.
