In recent years, the fact that cancer becomes one of the major fatal diseases in China with the accelerated process of urbanization and environmental pollution. In the study of tumor, tclomerase and vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C)are becoming one of the hot research topics as tumor markers. Telomerase is a reverse transcriptase, its activation can reduce the problem to solve the ends of chromosomes replicate, and its overexpression can make cells immortal and directly lead to tumor formation, and VEGF-C may regulate tumor angiogenesis, lymph-mediated vascular endothelial cell proliferation, regulation of lymphatic endothelial cell differentiation and proliferation of lymphatic vessels, promoting tumor cell into the lymphatic vessels and spread to the body through the lymphatic system to promote lymph node metastasis. Recently the research about the relationship between telomerase, VEGF-C and cancer is going deeply gradually.
