摘要
文章阐述中国加入世贸组织后，交通运输（包括航运业及配套的港口设施等）将面临更大、更严峻的挑战，且机遇和挑战共存。强调要抓住机遇，迎接挑战，加快我国港口的建设步伐，提高我国港口建设的管理水平。
China's communications and transportation industry (including navigation industryand necessary port facilities) will face more severe chanllenges and more chances as well afterentering the WTO. It is emphasized that we shall challenge the chances so as to speeden up thestep and improve the organization level of China's port construction.
