A Cultural Perspective on University Education

本文认同人类文明或先进文化应表现在积极追求真、善、美的理念之上。以此为目标,笔者面对中国社会当下的社会现实,引述历史中的某些事实,学习、讨论大学知识精英,要追求和担当国家文化建设和提升民族文明素质之理。

The present paper maintains that human civilization or advanced culture finds its best expression in people's vigorous pursuit of Truth,Goodness and Beauty.Confronting social reality in China today and drawing lessons from history at the same time,the present paper explores how intellectual elites in China's universities should take on the responsibility of building a more splendid national culture and ethnic civilization.
