摘要
对流体的可视化仿真已经成为计算机图形领域中最令人感兴趣和最具有挑战性的课题之一。文章首先介绍了利用GPU实现基于物理的流体模拟的基本原理。而边界条件是流体模拟的重要内容,文章对基于GPU处理边界条件进行了归纳总结,并根据DirectX 10的新特性提出一种可以实时处理动态边界的流体模拟方法。
Visualization and simulation of fluid has become one of the most interesting and challenging problems in computer graphics. The article firstly introduces the basic mechanism of how to implement fluid simulation physically based on GPU. Boundary conditions play an important role in fluid simulation. The article generalizes the method of dealing with boundary conditions base on GPU, and presents a new simulation method which can handle dynamic boundary in real time according to the new features of Direct 3D10.
