摘要 通过对托马斯·沃尔夫晚期的短篇小说《虎子》的新历史主义解读,本文试图索解隐匿于文本中的历史与政治内涵:"异己"对权力的颠覆实际上是权力的陷阱和产物,通过对颠覆势力的"收编"和"含纳",权力实际上巩固和强化了自己的统治。 Through a New Historicism interpretation of Thomas Wolfe＇s The Child by Tiger,the article attempts to decode the historical and political meanings implied in the text： the alien＇s subversion of power is actually the trap set by power;the power consequently strengthens its control through ＂incorporation＂ and ＂containment＂ of the subversive forces.
