摘要
利用平面波展开法模拟了二维正方晶格光子晶体的能带结构,通过改变介质柱半径的大小从r=0.2a变化到r=0.4a和介电常数的大小从εa=11.6变化到εa=20,分析研究了光子晶体的光子禁带以及太赫兹波在光子晶体中的传输特性。研究结果为制作太赫兹波段的光子晶体器件提供了理论依据。
The band structure of two-dimensional square lattice photonic crystal was simulated by using PWM ( Plane Wave Expansion method). The band-gap and the propagation characteristic of the photonic crystal in Terahertz range was studied by changing the radius of dielectric cylinder from r = 0. 2a to r = 0. 4a and changing the dielectric constant from εα = 11.6 to εα = 20. The result can provide theoretical basis for the manufacture of Terahertz devices.
