This paper analyzed BP's investment strategy,various business investment conditions of business segments and the upstream-downstream and new energy investment scale.From its investment strategy,it could be concluded that the development of the company has changed from acquisitions to stable development;its investment focused on core business;exploration and production segment has became more important;it has strengthened control of resources, and the investment in emerging markets was increasing continuously.As one of the world's biggest oil companies,BP's investment strategy deserves higher attention from other oil companies.
