21世纪是知识经济时代 ,这已成为当代经济理论界的共识。知识经济既是对传统产业的挑战 ,也是对劳动力构成的挑战 ,但归根结底还是对教育的挑战。因为知识经济的推动力是掌握了现代科学技术的人 ,教育承担着培养知识经济主体义不容辞的责任 ,教育是知识经济的基础。发展知识经济应提倡“创新”教育、“终身”教育和“通才”

Human society is entering an era of knowledge based on economy in the 21 st century,which has become common knowledge in the field of modern economic theories.That knowledge-based economy is a challenge not only to the traditional industry but also to the structure of labor force,and it is in the final analysis a chanllenge to education.Because the propelling force of knowledge-based economy is the people who have a command of modern science and technology.The responsibility naturally falls on education to cultivate the body of knowledge-based economy.Education is the base of knowledge-based economy.To develop knowledge economy,we should advocate “creative education”,“life-long education”and “education to train multisubject talents”
