为执行国家“七五”计划和落实我国参加的《国际饮水供应和卫生十年规划》,由全国爱卫会和卫生部领导,组织全国29个省、直辖市、自治区的卫生防疫站、环境卫生监测站于1983～1988年开展了此项调查。全国布设了28000余个有代表性的采样点,每个采样点采集枯、丰两期水样。每个水样至少测定15项理化及细菌指标。同时调查水源类型、取水方式、污染状况、人均用水量及各类水质的饮用人数。调查收集了与生活饮用水有关的地方病、传染病资料;收集历年由水引起的暴发性传染病以及由环境污染事故引起的疾病资料。水质分析是在严格的分析质量控制下进行的。200余万个数据均经电子计算机贮存和计算。建立了全国和各省的水质数据库。绘制了由85幅地图组成的大型《中国生活饮用水地图集》。调查资料为我国饮水改良规划的制定提供了科学依据。
In order to improve the drinking water quality in China and fulfill the 'National Seventh Five Year Plan' and 'International Drinking Water Sup- ply and Sanitation Decade Programme' 29 Antiepi- demic Station and Environmental Health Monitoring Station of Provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions all over China were organized by the Natio- nal Committee of Pateriotic Health Campaign and the Ministry of Public Hevalth to join this project from 1983 to 1988. More than 28000 sampling sites were selected. Water samples were collected both in rainy and dry seasons. No less than 15 tiems of physical, chemi- cal and bacteriological detection were carried out for each water sample. Information of water source and supply pattern, water pollution, water consum- ption, population consuming water with different kind of qualities were collected at same time. Information on incidence of endemic and infec- tious diseases related to drinking water quality; outbreak infectious diseases for years caused by dri- nking water and incidence of environmental pollution were also collected. Water analysis was conducted under strict anal- ytical quality control. More than 2 million data were stored and calculated by microcomputer. Data bank was established at the same time. 'Drinking Water Atlas of China' including 85 maps was com- piled in both Chinese and English versions.
