The paper introduces the method and the process of machining the three-way fittings by using two kinds of the clamping apparatus（jig） on the engine lathe through analyzing the structure of the parts and the process planning.It focuses on analysis of design,structure,working principle,method of use and notice,etc.of the two kinds of the engine lathe jigs.It is proved that this method can meet the requirement of machining the parts,the jig is simple in structure,easy to be used,safe and reliable,economical and scientific as well.
