Big Controversy over the Research on Genetic Modification

国内外有关转基因研究成果的争论已经十分激烈，国外曾经有过几次反对的浪潮，由于大家获取的信息不对称，争论双方掌握的专业知识不尽相同，争论越演越烈。该文回顾了现代遗传学百年发展的历史，说明究竟什么是“基因”，什么是“转基因”，以及研究中的是是非非。

There＇s great debate both home and abroad on the research of genetic modification. Some voices in overseas countries oppose it. But the debate got worse owing to the different academic backgrotmd and asymmetric information. This article reviews the history of Modem Genetics in recent 10 decades, explaining what is gene, what is genetic modification as well as the controversy in the research.
