摘要
提出了一种新型基于晶闸管的PWM三相电流型STATCOM拓扑结构。将晶闸管作为主转换电路,辅助以全控型器件开关,在每一个开关周期内为晶闸管创造稳定关断的条件,使得晶闸管工作在高频PWM模式。这种拓扑结构的STATCOM充分发挥晶闸管高耐压和大容量的优势,提高了STATCOM的功率等级,变换器,并且具有电流型响应迅速、驱动简单、可靠性好,成本低的优势。新的拓扑结构经过仿真和实验验证,工作频率可达2 kHz,大大提高了工作频率,降低了对储能元件的要求和成本,在工程上有很高的应用价值。
A novel SCR-PWM topology was introduced in current-source STATCOM. Based on three-phase thyristors on main circuit, a full controllable power electronic switch was used as auxilary switch for a faster switching off. The auxiliary circuit esured the switching off in every cycle and accelerated it.Compared with tradational PWM topology, the novel one had the advantage of quick current response, easy drive, high reliablity and low cost. The experiment shows that it can improve the thyristor working frequency up to 2 kHz, and the demand for energy saving devices is chropped down. The low cost per kW is attractive for engineering.
